Account & Data Deletion
App: Om Sanskaram (Codetrex)
Om Sanskaram uses mobile OTP sign-in. You can request that your
account and associated personal data be deleted,
or request deletion of specific data without closing your account.
Push notification device tokens (FCM) registered to your account are removed when you log out or when deletion completes,
so the closed account stops receiving app pushes.
Delete it yourself:
sign in, open Profile → Delete Account and confirm with the OTP sent to your registered mobile number.
Any in-progress orders, upcoming bookings or payments still processing must be settled first; the page lists anything that needs attention.
If you can still sign in, prefer the in-app path; if you can't sign in, use the email steps below.
How account deletion works
1Empty wallet:
after you confirm, a 30-day grace period starts; you are signed out on all devices,
and your mobile number is locked for new signup during the grace period.
2Money in your wallet:
the balance is refunded before deletion. You fill a short refund form (account holder name, bank account number, IFSC, and an email for updates).
Bank details are used only for the refund, not for marketing.
Our team transfers the balance to your bank account and then approves the deletion; the 30-day grace period starts from that approval.
If a bank detail needs fixing, we email you so you can correct it.
3Changed your mind?
During the grace period, sign in with your mobile number and OTP and choose Restore Account.
Your account and its history come back as they were; a wallet that was refunded stays at zero.
While deletion is pending, your mobile number cannot be used to create a new account.
4Account closed:
after the grace period your account is archived. Your profile and history are removed from the app and kept in a restricted archive
that only authorised staff can access (see C below). The account can no longer be restored, and your mobile number is released so it can be used for a new account.
A new account never shows data from the closed one.
Emails at each step:
we email the address you give us when your refund request is received, when a correction is needed, when the refund is completed
(only the last 4 digits of your bank account are shown), if the request is rejected, when deletion is scheduled (with the date and how to restore),
when your account is restored and when your account is closed. Emails come from Om Sanskaram Pvt Ltd.
Refund-related bank details and the temporary email used for deletion/refund status are retained only as long as needed to complete payout
and send the listed status emails, then deleted or restricted per table C.
